Hi, sorry I didn't make it clearer.

I'm doing a project on Luz in the Algarve. It's a small village where
many Britons have opened a lot of bars and pubs. I wish to write about
how one culture has imposed itself upon another, i.e. British on local
Portuguese.

The portuguese and british view on things would be excellent, as well
as any statistics on the number of British bars in the Algarve,
especially Luz, compared to Portuguese.

News items and anecdotes would also be great, as would statistics on tourism.

I asked the clarification questions to assist researchers to
understand as to what you were seeking.
I did have a look myself at the available information but could not
find information anywhere sufficient to answer your question. The
question has been available for other researchers to look at it.
Perhaps they have come to the same conclusion.
