Are you wanting to know where you can obtain a Merrimack Valley AAA
membership that entitles you to various member discounts, or are you
asking how to obtain a Merrimack Valley AAA membership at a discount
off the regular membership price?

I want to know how to obtain a AAA membership at a discount off the
regular price. The regular price for the first year is $60 for the
first member (called the "primary" member) and $32 for an additional
(associate) member.

I see. Perhaps someone knows more than me about it then. The only
advice I can give you is to talk the program up to someone so they
they join for $60, then get them to make you their associate member
for $32.

Beyond that I don't know of any discount that exists.

That won't work, because the associate member must be a part of the
same household. I have seen third party ads in other states offering
discount memberships, but can't find any in my area. For example, a
credit union in CA was offering its members a discount membership to
the AAA in CA. A tire store in FL was offering a discount AAA
membership in FL to anyone who purchased 4 new tires.
