I just got ADSL internet and the provider gave me a 2WIRE Home Portal, but they didn't gave the adapters for wireless connections. For my laptop I bought a SMC wireless cardbus adapter and it works fine, but for my PC I bought a 3COM 3CRSHEW696 USB Adapter and it just won't work. I checkeD that it has the same standard (IEEE 802.11b). I called 3COM and they said that it's an encryption problem because they use different encryption standards, but I tried with no encryption and it still won't work. What can I do to make it work? |
