Hello euro_friend~
No discussion on downloading music off the Internet is complete
without first talking about the legality of the process. The recording
industry clearly does not want folks downloading free music off the
Internet; they?ve been busy slapping music downloaders around the
globe with lawsuits. While downloaders claim they?re just sharing
their music collections digitally (the way people used to lend
cassettes and LP in the old days), the recording industry calls
digital sharing a copyright violation?and therefore, illegal.

But despite years of legal battles, many people still choose to
download music for free off the Internet. Here are a few places to do
so:
? Kazaa.com
? Winmx.com
? Shareaza.com
? Ares (found at Softgap.com )
? Gltpoliane.com
At each site, you?ll find you?ll need to download some software onto your computer.
Sometimes it?s possible to get free downloads that even the music
industry considers perfectly legal. Find the websites of your favorite
singers and musicians, and you may discover they?re leaning toward the
trend of giving away a song or two once in a while.
