i have come up with a unique but relatively simple design for a bean
bag and want to have a few thousand produced, in fake fur and fake
leather.

i am currently in talks with a company called san-shang, but there
seems to be little reasuring evidence that they are a legitimate
company and as the initial order will be approx $20,000 i am reluctant
just to hand it to anyone. please see this recent ga question:

i am located in london and have been considering importing from china
due to the competetive prices, but i cant help but feel that it is a
long way away and dispute resolution would be tricky.

my question is, could you please provide a list with as many
manufacturers as possible, both in China and in Europe that would
undertake my productions needs.

I am an Indian based Buying Agent in the field of Home textiles and
furnishings resourcing and development for a few other people in this
trade! Would you like to resource it out of India or does it have to
be from Europe or China ?

Sorry had been out of town so couldnt reply back.. I can find the
suppliers and organise the same as I said I am working as a Buying
agent for certain buyer's earlier so in case u are interested please
advise the details and how do we go about it and I can start with that
to give you a better reply if I could have more specs... of the style
..as in the following -
1/ the sampling will have to be paid for as the entire cost will have 
to be as a development and can be reimbursed  when Order is placed ?
2/ the size , details of faux leather , swatch color etc , what kind
of packaging will you require ?
3/ time period in which u require for making sample 
4/ what kind of minimum quantities/ color are we looking at so the
manufacturing unit can be chosen accordingly or developed accordingly
so please revert on the above and then I can properly proceed to work on this..
I am not sure if we are supposed to give out email or contacts so do
revert back on this  as well..

sorry had forgotten to add a few things 
a) mode of payment will have to be L/C at sight 
b) faux suede is also available incase u may want to opt for it apart
from fake leather..
