Hadachishi is one of the 14 Navajo deities referred to collectively as the Ye'i ( pronounced Yay ). The male Ye'i are typically depicted in sand paintings with round heads and sometimes have horns, masks, pointed caps or other head gear. Female Ye'i typically have square heads. Both sexes are often shown with tassles dangling from their arms or clothes. Hadachishi is known as The Destroyer.
