Hi PinkFreud,
I am still very much interested in the longer version of the quote you
mentioned from the quote book wherein Katherine Hepburn states, "I
have always thought that marriage was a funny sort of institution.
Sometimes I wonder if men and women really suit each other at all.
It's inevitable that they should come together now and again, but how
well suited are they to living in the same house. Perhaps they should
live next door and visit every now and then."

Can you help me?

Many, many thanks,
q7

Hi PinkFreud,
I forgot to ask for what I need. I'm assuming all you have is a quote
book with the quote. The name, date of publication, and publisher
will be fine.

I need it quickly though. If you could post tomorrow, that would be great.

I hope this question reaches you soon.

Thanks,
q7

Thank you very much for accepting the information that I mentioned in
a comment to your earlier question.

Here is the version of the quote that I found. It appears in a chapter
about Hepburn's long relationship with Spencer Tracy:

"I have always thought that marriage was a funny sort of institution,"
she explained. "Sometimes I wonder if men and women really suit each
other at all. It's inevitable that they should come together now and
again, but how well suited are they to living in the same house?
Perhaps they should live next door and visit every now and then."

The quote is from "Count the Ways: The Greatest Love Stories of Our
Times," by Paul Aron. It is found on page 35. Here's the publishing
info:

Count the Ways : The Greatest Love Stories of Our Times
by Paul Aron
Paperback: 304 pages ; Dimensions (in inches): 0.76 x 6.74 x 4.78
Publisher: McGraw-Hill/Contemporary Books; (December 1, 2002)
ISBN: 0071413049

I hope this is helpful! If anything is unclear, or if you have any
questions, please request clarification; I'll be glad to offer further
assistance before you rate my answer.

Best wishes,
pinkfreud
