Dear friends I live in Syria. I have e-books to sell online. I have a shopping cart for download and a Web site. I have a Visa card number and a current account a the Beirut (in Lebanon) bank. The problem is: I couldn't find any merchant account provider because I live in Syria. I do not know what should I do or where to find such a provider. Please Please Please someone help me. Regards |

Hi Zakwan There are lots of sites who would allow you to sell things over the 'net without you having a merchant account. Different sites operate differently. Some charge you a monthly flat rate irrespective of what you sell. Some charge a transaction rate on the goods you sell while some charge both. All of them send you cheque in dollars at the address you specify. A good and a reliable one to start with would be CCNOW. They charge 11.95 USD per month and dont charge any transaction rate if you sell below 100$ per month. You can check out more details at their website at http://www.ccnow.com Let me know if you need more details. Regards ZeroOne |
