I am researching drug delivery systems and recently came across an
article about InSet Technologies and their Prometra Implantable,
Programmable Drug Pump System. I understand InSet?s parent company,
InfuMedics Inc., terminated a marketing agreement with Bard Access
Systems and subsequently created InSet Technologies to market their
implantable pump technology. I also know the InSet Technologies
applied for CE mark for the Prometra Drug Pump System earlier this
month.

To complete my project (which is due soon) I need additional details
about InSet Technologies and the features of their Prometra
technology. Specifically, I really need to know the answer in the
following four questions:

1) How does the Prometra Implantable, Programable Drug Pump System
work? In particular, is it possible to tell how it is different it
from other implantable programmable drug pump systems?

2) Sales Information: What is the cost of InSet Technologies?
programmable pump systems and other products they offer? Where are
these products available for purchase?

3)Is the product sold through distributors or direct from the manufacturer?

4)Does it have any alternative uses?

Any direction would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you
require additional clarification. Also, if you find additional
information, other than what I have asked, or already mentioned, it
will be worth a tip. Please note that I am interested in the
programmable drug pump, not the constant flow one.
