The Koalas and eucalyptus tree is a very good example. I am doing more on the topic now. I still would like to have more to my list than them so that i can alter my focus anytime i want to. One interesting thing i found during the study was that one site:http://media.berkeley.edu/~jpeng/Koala/barefact.html says that koalas are solitary animals. And another site:http://www.thekoala.com/koala/ says that koalas are community animals and need to live with other koalas. Can you verify whatever is true? |

There are several kinds of caterpillars which eat only the leaves of a specific plant. The caterpillar of the Karner blue butterfly is one: "In its early life as a caterpillar, the Karner eats only the leaves of the wild blue lupine which grow in sandy oak savanna and pine barrens." http://www.doi.gov/news/archives/990927.html |
