Hi Wally5,

I was not able to locate anything online indicating that Dr Hatcher is
currently under investigation for accepting bribes. I checked court
records and online news sites.

I did find that he has an active clinical psychology license from the
Illinois Dept of Professional Regulation. That web site indicates that
he has no history of disciplinary actions against him.

Illinois Dept of Professional Regulation (IDPR)
http://www.dpr.state.il.us/

Here is the psychology section of the IDPR:
http://www.dpr.state.il.us/WHO/Psych.asp

The web page noted above has a link allowing you to email questions
about the profession. You may email them your question if you like.
There are also links for rules and laws regulating the profession in
the state of Illinois, including disciplinary action and unethical
conduct. If you prefer another method of contact with IDPR, here is
there contact info:

Springfield Office:
320 West Washington
Springfield, IL 62786
(217)785-0800 Voice
(217)524-6735 TDD
(217)782-7645 Fax

Chicago Office:
James R. Thompson Center
100 West Randolph
Suite 9-300
Chicago, IL 60601
(312)814-4500 Voice

Typically if a licensed professional is being investigated for
misconduct, the individual's licensing authority is notified.
Therefore, IDPR should be aware of any formal allegations against Dr
Hatcher, if any do exist. Results of the investigation are typically
made public and are usually available through licensing authorities.
However the allegations and investigative results are not always made
public until the investigation is complete. Direct contact IDPR would
likely be your best source for information on Dr Hatcher.

And yes, you are correct that Dr Hatcher is affiliated with PACE:

Please post a clarification if this does not answer your question to
your satisfaction :-) There is one news database that I want to check
for you but the site's search function is not working this evening. I
will continue to re-check it and will post any relevant findings, if
there are any.

Regards,
fsw

Hello again Wally5,

I've checked a number of additional sources since I posted my initial
answer. I still haven't found anything to suggest that Dr Hatcher is
under investigation. My recommendation remains that you contact his
licensing board for further information.

Dr. hatcher did my concilliation years ago. He was very professional
and no BS IMHO. I am considering calling him for new advice. Do you
have an incident you know of regarding him? Or has he ruled
unfavorably against you and you want to find anything you can to
discredit his findings.? My sons's mom did this with everyone who
found things against her, she has a severe personality disorder that
has been very harmful to my kids. I would appreciate your honesty in
this since I wish to call him for advice, and your inquiry makes me
hesitate.

He actually started the program of concilliation in DuPage county.

I have been an outsider of a divorce that has gone on for several
years now. Dr. Hatcher has a bad reputation in the area. If he isnt
taking bribes, he is doing a poor job in my opinion. There is a case
against "Hatcher Medicial Group" in Kane county which may be against
Dr. Hatcher. The clerk of the county can help with the information.
Ad for Steelwirefingers-ga...your a male. I am SURE that whatever you
want from Dr. Hatcher will be said and done...and I am a MALE...but I
see his true colors when it comes to children and custody in the
courts. He is an embarrassment to his field...ask true professionals
that dont get paid by the court about his work. :)

Dr. Hatcher takes the father side just about every time. Even when a
child speaks to him about abuse, he has hospital records, police
report he still says that the mother is lying about abuse. Me Ex took
a MMPI test givin by Dr. Hatcher, even though he tested high for
Depression, Phycohtic behavior Dr. Hatcher claimed this was normal.
Mine came out ok. Well if his is normal, what does that make mine?
There are several women every where over Illinois whom have used Dr.
Hatcher and lost their children.
