What Massachusetts or Connecticut cities can issue a used car dealer's license without requiring resale property to be owned ? I heard that this is possible and I would like to know where. Can you also list the requirements that this city has on a used car dealer's license. |

I thought these links might be useful to you: http://www.ci.cambridge.ma.us/~license/permitsandlicenses/usedcar.html http://www.shrewsbury-ma.gov/selectmen/license.asp It would help a lot if you specified particular cities, since there are thousands of cities in these states and each is going to have its own regulations. Good Luck! |

I will apply in any city. I live in East Longmeadow and they require that I own actual land to open a dealership, but I don't have that. I want a license without owning land. This is something that I plan on running out of my house/ eBay. Once I get a license I will be able to go to car auctions and thats what I am primarily interested in. Adam |
