As for my personal opinion? Love is selflessness. Love is wanting
whomever you're loving (whether it be your spouse,
girlfriend/boyfriend, friend, dog, etc.) to be as happy as possible,
even at your own expense. Love is one of the most beautiful emotions
humans can have, and others such as charity, compassion, and even the
very essence of humanity are just expressions of love.
