Gregor Mendel's original publications give a summary of his experiments. According to my research to date, many, if not most, of his original notebooks were destroyed after his death. My question: is Mendel's original data available on his experiments? Were his notebooks translated and made available? If not, has any modern researcher replicated his experiments exactly, and is that data available? I have searched all sites on Mendel listed in Google and cannot find the original data, or a modern data set replicating exactly that work. Please only refer to a Mendel site or book if it contains this specific answer. |

I have not found Mendel's data, but on http://www.gutenberg.net/etext05/spvrt10.txt there are a few data by Hugo de Vries, the so-called "rediscoverer of Mendel". |
