I sold a house in Sept 2003 for 195000 in Norwalk, CT. I'm a trying
to find out how much that house was worth in Sept 2000. 3 BR/ 2 BA,
1700 sq.ft.

I would like to know what the Fair Market Value of the house was in
2000. The property had not been sold in the last 25 years so the tax
assesor had a very very low estimate. Norwalk has been trying to
adjust those estimates over the past few years to be more reflective
of true value.

I recently sold a home I had lived in and then leased before selling
and for tax purposes I had to get the orginal sales price at a certain
date. The assesors office can get you that information. Particularly
if you have a specific address in mind.
