Hi!
I am a modeller working towards  modelling the cosmos. Recently I have
come across a saying from the bible that the cosmos was created in
seven days say... I am looking for a research article where someone
might have worked it out ........ Incase I could get something more
that what I am looking for as mentioned above I would be glad to have
them ....

It should be kept in mind that the "seven days" were not necessarily
"days" in the human sense.

"But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with
the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." (2
Peter 3:8)

Jehovah's Witnesses make an excellent book "Life---How did it get
here?  By evolution or by creation?"  It has many pictures.  Chapter
3, "What Does Genesis Say?" explains the 7-day thing thoroughly and
accurately, including a caption which reads: "The Genesis account is
given from the standpoint of an observer on Earth".  Hope it helps
you.

Read the account carefully. The Bible does not say that the cosmos was
created in seven days.

Actually, the heavens and the earth were created BEFORE the seven
days. It doesn't say how long it took; it could have taken millions of
years.

So on the first day, the heavens and earth existed already, except
that the earth was a mess.

The "seven days" were actually the days that it took to fill the earth
that was already there-- gathering the waters, making the land appear,
putting in plants, animals and birds etc. and making man.
