In an attempt to stop calls from a Credit Card company for past due
dept,I returned a call to see what kind of partial payment would help
my record temporarily.I was able to pay the minimum of one Citicard
and half the minimum of another.I made this call and these payments
once the collections department told me the calls would stop until the
next billing cycle in late April.I made this call last week and have
been called twice in the last three days.Citicards tells me they have
the right to keep calling,ad this may be true, but I feel misinformed
and duped by the aformentioned collector.
Do I have grounds for a lawsuit,be it harrasment or otherwise?I'm in
Illinois ,but the calls are coming from Kansas and Texas.maybe
outsourced.
Thanks you.The bill for this will be on my debit card,in case you wondered.

You can demand that they stop calling you, and by law, they must stop.
