Question ID: 322891
Can you please find me some pictures of productions of Ridiculous
Theatre. I require pictures of original performances dated between
1965-1985, preferably from Charles Ludlam's Ridiculous Theatrical
Company. I do not want a picture of Charles Ludlam dressed as Camille.
They do not need to be in performance- they could be press photos etc-
but they need to show the costumes worn.

Dear Lily Laundry

There are very few pictures online, given the fact that the company
ceased to exist.

Photographer Leandro Katz has several photos in his site, and also did
an exhibition with pictures from the Company's early productions:

Bedlam Days Exhibition (in Spanish, but there are different pictures there):

a picture dated March 13th, 1976.

More off-line images could be found at David Kaufman's book
"Ridiculous! The Theatrical Life and Times of Charles Ludlam" (2002).

In addition, their former PR company is Cromarty and Co., and they
might be able to give you more images

I hope this answers your question. My search terms:
- name of the company
- names of major people involved
- names of majot plays/productions

Please contact me if you need any clarification on this answer before you rate it.

Dear Lily,

My colleague Leli-ga sent me two other pictures:

A photograph by Jack Robinson :

Original caption: Black-Eyed Susan dressed as the High Priestess, in
Charles Ludlam's 'The Grand Tarot' from the Theatre of the Absurd
(found at Corbis database, to find it and purchase it, search "Lola
Pashalinski as The High Priestess in The Grand Tarot 1971" in
<http://pro.corbis.com/>

And :
no date
Everett Quinton and Charles Ludlam in Irma Vep.
