Hello tigger1-ga, Click on the Tools menu and then Internet Options. Near the bottom of the window, you should see a "History" box, and "Days to keep pages in history:"... put in a number such as 14, or 21. Then click OK to close the Internet Options window. If you want it to autocomplete typing an address you've been to before, before clicking OK and closing the window, click the tab labelled "Content" and then click on "AutoComplete..." Checkmark the Web addresses box, and click OK to close the AutoComplete Settings window. Then click OK to close the Internet Options window. If this procedure doesn't work, make sure that you are logged into the Administrator account if you're on Windows XP/2000, or have rights to change settings as a power user. Thank you for your question, and I'm glad I could help you find an answer. skermit-ga | |

If you are a novice user, I would recommend reinstalling IE. If you are a more experienced user, here's one thing to check in registry (please back up your registry before making any changes): 1. Click Start button, 2. Click "Run..." and type in "regedit" 3. In Registry Editor, navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Typed URLs 4. Check to see that it has URLs. If not... 5. Right click on the "Typed URLs" key (or folder as presented in the tree.) 6. Click "Permissions..." 7. Check to see that every user listed has "allow" check box clicked. 8. Close Permissions box and Registry Editor. SeattleSLK. |
