The busiest bridge in Europe is the Kingston Bridge, in Glasgow, Scotland:

"...the 10-lane Kingston Bridge which arches over the River Clyde in
Glasgow and is central to the city's road network... Today the 50,000
tonnes road bridge is reputed to be the busiest in Europe taking some
155,000 vehicles per day."

"More Repairs for Europe's Busiest Bridge

A five month programme of repairs to the Kingston Bridge across the
river Clyde in Glasgow will result in the phased closure of exits and
ramps on the busiest bridge in Europe, causing inevitable congestion,
diversions and delays. Business leaders in the city are calling for
the early building of the new bridge across the Clyde between
Finnieston and Pacific Quay and the M74 extension. The Kingston bridge
carries 160,000 vehicles a day and when it opened in 1970, it was the
longest bridge in the UK. Two lanes were closed for six years while
engineers worked out how to repair crumbling supports on the 52,000
tonne structure. Its full 10-lane capacity was only restored in
February last year."

"In the 1960s the M8 motorway, which runs from Edinburgh to Glasgow,
was extended to run into the centre of the city. It then swings south,
over the Kingston Bridge, continuing out past Glasgow Airport. The
Bridge opened in 1969 and the ten lanes - five in each direction -
have made it Europe's busiest road bridge, being used by 180,000
vehicles per day.

During repairs in 1999/2000, the 52,000 tonne bridge was raised 10
millimetres and moved 190 millimetres to the south so that new support
piling could be inserted. The repair to the bridge cost over £31
million - three times the original cost of the structure."
