I'm a presently-unemployed telecom worker. My specialty is the Lucent Technologies (sometimes referred to as AT&T) 5ESS Digital Switch used for telecom switching and the Tellabs 5500 Titan Digital Cross-connect System used for telecom transport. In order to more accurately and aggressively search for, and ultimately, obtain a job working on either or both of these pieces of equipment, I need to know which telecommunications/broadband companies employ and use this equipment in their networks around the entire world. It doesn't matter what type of companies they are or what services they provide, whether it be local exchange, long-distance, broadband, internet, etc., it should be all-inclusive. Included in this list should be contact info for each company (i.e. address, toll-free telephone number, H.R. email address, website, etc.). |

I used to work for Lucent in the installation group. Also the 5E was my area. Telecom companies in the MW that have the 5E. US Cellular has 4 5E's in the chicago area with about 18 SM's. 4 switches in the VA area with about 9 SM's. www.uscellular.com Verizon in IL is 100% Lucent. www.verizoncareers.com ATT in IL is 100 % Lucent. www.att.com Sprint is Motorola and Cingular uses Ericcson equipment. |
