What is the code to change regions on a sansui dv-X1000K dvd player. 
I will pay AU$20 for the code.

Hi there,

Strathfield have a way of doing it:

An firmware upgrade CD is now available for the DVX1000. To order one
of these, please request this through the product feedback section and
leave your full name, delivery address and we will send it to you,
within Australia, free of charge. Once you receive the CD:

Place the CD in the draw and close 
The screen will be fuzzy but do not be alarmed 
Follow the procedures prompted on the screen using the REMOTE only 
It will take anywhere up to 6 minutes to process 
Once it is finished it will switch the player off and you will need to
turn it back on
It is now ready to play all regions

Try at your own risk:

1. Turn ON the DVD player(WITHOUT DVD INSIDE!!!)
2. Press PAUSE on the remote control.
3. Press 3,1,4,1,5,9
4. Press 0(zero) (it means multizone)
5. Press PAUSE again.
6. Turn OFF the DVD player .
