I want to open a wine store where I sell wine and other wine related
items.  I have been told I need to get a distributors license, that
way I can buy directly from the wineries.  How is this different than
just being a retailer, and which would benefit me more?  My fear with
a distributorship is that I would have to pay so many wineries so much
money to sell their wines that it would cut down on the selection I
could offer my customers.
