Describe in detail the process of cleaning, electrocleaning,
activating a steel casting prior to Zinc electroplating.  The castings
we want to plate weigh 35 pounds and have recessed areas.  They have
been wheelabraded prior to our cleaning.

Usually, this requires a mixed sulfuric acid+phosphoric acid bath at
warm temperatures for "elctroerosion".
Then zinc can be applied.
