I tried to update my ipaq h1930 with ROM for the wrong ipaq version,
the update failed, and now my ROM is erased. The ROM updater is
functioning and allows me to update the ipaq's ROM, however, I do not
have the correct h1930 rom to update it with. Is it possible to obtain
the original ROM for the ipaq h1930? Any latin alphabet language will
do (English, German, Italian, etc.), however, English is preferrable.

I emailed HP about this, too. I do not have an answer from them yet,
however, I expect they will reccomend me to bring it to a service
centre for repairs.

All I can see is a site that will update your ROM for you.
