Is there a easy way to convert a pdf file with mostly graphics and some text into HTML? I tried a few conversion programs and they do not work well. | |

your best bet is making it a 2 step operation first get the program pdf2word http://www.verypdf.com/pdf2word/index.html#dl it has a try me function for 99 tries , this will give you a rtf document which you can load in word , then use word to save the document as Html hope this helps |

The format of the graphics and text gets messed up with the pdf2word program. I know how to cut out slices of the pdf and save them as gif files. What is the HTML code to put them together, with some of them as hyperlinks? I tried this and get black lines when the gif file is a hyperlink. |

Well since the quick and dirty did not work , there is one other solution open for you provided the document you are trying to extract is not secured , download the trial version of Adobe Acrobat 6. (it works for 30 days) and export the file as Html I've tried it on a document containing 42 images and some text and it worked flawlessly , however the download is 199 Mb so I hope you are not on dialup This works only if the document is not protected , you can find this out by looking at the document properties in Acrobat |
