Is there a easy way to convert a pdf file with mostly graphics and

Hi rooknyc,
Besides pdf2word, can you list the Conversion Programs that have not
worked for you?

Also, you might want to check out pdftohtml
Information Page at:
http://pdftohtml.sourceforge.net/
Download Page at:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=45839

Please let me know if that Program works for you.
Thanks.

your best bet is making it a 2 step operation

first get the program pdf2word http://www.verypdf.com/pdf2word/index.html#dl

it has a try me function for 99 tries , this will give you a rtf
document which you can load in word , then use word to save the
document as Html

hope this helps

The format of the graphics and text gets messed up with the pdf2word
program. I know how to cut out slices of the pdf and save them as gif
files.
What is the HTML code to put them together, with some of them as
hyperlinks? I tried this and get black lines when the gif file is a
hyperlink.

Well since the quick and dirty did not work , there is one other
solution open for you provided the document you are trying to extract
is not secured , download the trial version of Adobe Acrobat 6. (it
works for 30 days) and export the file as Html I've tried it on a
document containing 42 images and some text and it worked flawlessly ,
however the download is 199 Mb so I hope you are not on dialup

This works only if the document is not protected , you can find this
out by looking at the document properties in Acrobat
