Hi captnmke,
Can you recall any of the lyrics? Any details you can remember, no
matter how small, can help.

Hello.

As far as I can tell, there's only one late '60s/early '70s rock band
that matches your description: Forever More.

According to the AllMusicGuide, Forever More did two albums: Yours
Forever More (1970) and Words on Black Plastic (1971).

The LP that you remember is probably Yours Forever More as the title
track is consistent your recollection. It's available from eBay:

And also MusicStack:

search strategy:
allmusicguide.com: artists: forever more

I hope this is the album that you were seeking. If not, please let me
know via the "request clarification" feature. Thanks.
