Question ID: 32449
Which search engines can I use to generate query frequency reports for
their most popular searches for a given month? How can I get access to
these tools? What I am looking for is something like this:

Keyword: tiger

Results: (I faked the numbers obviously)

Query Frequency
---------- ----------
Tiger Woods 24,345
tigers 15,667
Benegal tiger 3,230
paper tiger 2,703
tiger information 1,234
Tiger map server 1,198

Each unique query item would then be hyperlinked to other related
queries contained the parent query, and so on down.

Hi Dr Rick,

Good day. A few months ago, I was put in charge of optimizing a
company's website for search engines based on popular queries. I
stumbled across a software called Good Keywords.

You can enter any text you want in the search box, and it queries a
few engines, and returns the result sorted by number of queries. For
example, if you type tiger, it queries the engines for phrases
containing tiger, and returns the result in descending order of number
of queries.

This is a good software. By knowing the required keywords, you can
increase your search position.

The URL suggestions by zoltrix007-ga were very helpful! aditya2k - I
didn't much care for the Good Keywords app. skermit-ga -- I did know
about the searchenginewatch site.

http://searchenginewatch.com/facts/searches.html

is a good start to help you on your way. Most of the information that
you're looking for can be found on some of the pay-for sites listed on
this page. I'm in and out all afternoon, so I don't want to hinder any
other researcher's ability by locking it, but this is what I've found
so far.

There are two engines that provide frequency of use information based
on searches conducted. The first is at overture at the following
link:

and the second is at 7search.com at the following link:

hope this answers your question.
