In a nutshell, without having to read the entire product
documentation, Janeva allows you to connect .NET applications to
IIOP-based servers; this includes CORBA servers and J2EE servers.

If you're looking for a general Java/.NET interoperability solution,
you should also check out Codemesh's JuggerNET product and several other
competing products (JNBridge, etc.)

Each of these products has different architectural sweetspots and is
more or less suitable in a given scenario. Personally (not that I am
impartial), I believe that JuggerNET is the nicest solution because it
is in-process and does not require any external infrastructure beyond
the JRE and a .NET runtime environment, but you have to be the judge.
