I have a Harman Kardon AV 75 receiver, Cambridge soundworks Ensemble speakers, Cambridge Soundworks surround and center channel speakers and will be purchasing a universal SACD/DVD-Audio DVD player - probably a Pioneer Elite DVD 47Ai. Can you tell me if this will all work together? |

Yes, I think so, for you have chosen good equipment brands. However, don't forget that the final and fine tuning of a system happens when you carefully choose audio cabling to go with the electronics. I can recommend you have a look at www.audiogon.com, where you can find second-hand audio cables which otherwise would be quite expensive. For example, try NBS or Siltech cables for interconnect and speaker cables. They have the ability to change the final sound of a system. NBS produces a warm and intimate sound, and Siltech improves imaging and spatiality. You may blend these two brands in order to balance the effect brought in by each. In principle, you have made sensible choices. |

Thanks. The HK receiver doesn't have 6 analog inputs to connect to the Universal SACD/DVD player. Is there any piece of equipment that i can put in between the receiver and the player or do I need to upgrade to a new receiver? |
