Can you find a Spark plug horse stuffed animal wearing blanket with
"Spark Plug" written on it, I had one as a child (born 1954) and I
want my toys back.

Hi there,
Are you sure it was a stuffed toy? i can find no mention of a stuffed
toy anywhere, but a lot of references and some pictures to a moveable
wooden toy of Spark plus, with a blanket with his name on it, like
here
http://www.pfile.net/gallery/album10/aal

I hosted that pic up there for you so you can tell me if I'm close. I
also have the value of that toy, what it was sold for at auction
recently, but no where to purchase one. I do however, have the names
of 4 or 5 dealers that you could contact to keep an eye out for you
though.

Let me know if that information would constitute an acceptable answer,
or not. I just have the feeling that it could be a while until 1
appears on the market, if at all, and I'd rather get you where to look
and approx price, etc. than nothing at all.

Hi, It was a stuffed animal about 12 or 14 inches long, it was new
when it was bought in the 60's, and he was wearing a yellow horse
blanket made of thin yellow flannel that snapped under his neck and it
had "Spark Plug" written on it. I looked and saw the old wooden ones
you are talking about, they are MUCH older than this. This is probably
hopeless , I know he wasn't a real popular item like Chatty Cathy . I
lived in Texas at the time, but it seems it was made by one of the big
toy companies. Thanks, Betty Ann
