What are you asking? There's many stories of Taoist figure Chuang Tzu laughing or doing humorous things, humor in Zen Buddhism, and a few funny stories in Tibetan Buddhism. |

Here are two good references from Lao-Tse: "The wise student hears of the Tao and practices it diligently. The average student hears of the Tao and gives it thought now and again. The foolish student hears of the Tao and laughs aloud. If there were no laughter, the Tao would not be what it is." http://www.iging.com/laotse/LaotseE.htm "When the wise man learns the Way, He tries to live by it. When the average man learns the Way He lives by only part of it. When the fool learns the Way He laughs at it. Yet if the fool did not laugh, It would not be the Way. Indeed, if you are seeking the Way, Listen for the laughter of fools." http://www.spiritwalk.org/laotzu.htm |
