I am planning to drive from New York, NY to Reno, NV during the month
of August. I will be camping in Nevada for about 2 weeks and then I
plan to fly back to New York. I will also be transporting mid-size car
during this trip(4000-5000 lbs).

What are my options as far as rental vehicles for this trip? I need a
vehicle that I can camp in and tow a car transport trailer with.
Ideally I would like to find a one way rental for both the truck and
the trailer. The trailer should be one that will accomodate all four
wheels being on the trailer.
The camper will need to accomodate 2 people.

You are going to have a tough time finding an RV Rental Company that
1. has one-way rentals from NY to Reno and 2. will allow you to tow
5000 lbs. Most RV Rental companies do not allow towing.

The are only 2 companies that may do that for you.
