Hi agrif,
The song "Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts" by Bob Dylan is
based on "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare.

Jack of Hearts is Hamlet
Lily is Ophelia ( Polonius' Daughter )
Rosemary is Gertrude ( Wife of Claudius )

More Information:
Polonius is Claudius' advisor

But in the song, is the Jack of Hearts actually Lily in disguise?

I suppose but I did not get that from the Lyrics.
Since I am not an expert in Literature, would you like another
research to answer this question?
