Hi infogamer, Probably your best bet is HowStuffWorks.com. Their computer page is here: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/ and has all sorts of good information about various computer hardware. Some good articles that you might find useful there are: How Microprocessors Work: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/microprocessor.htm How Motherboards Work: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/motherboard.htm How PCI Works: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/pci.htm How Quantum Computers Will Work: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/quantum-computer.htm Another basic introduction to computer hardware is from FactMonster. It gives you an outline of the basic components of computers: http://www.factmonster.com/ipka/A0774696.html And finally, you might be interested in this site: http://kosmoi.com/Computer/Hardware/ which is a little more technical than the others, but still not too complex. Hope this helps, Hibiscus |
