Im'm sorry, album501-ga, but this really needs to be discussed with your doctor. You have no means of knowing the background of the researchers on this forum. If they are not practitioners, they should not answer this question. |

I strongly agree with Tehuti on this. You're talking about a very specific medical problem which requires a doctor's assessment. If you don't feel that you've received enough information from your doctor, ask again! (You ARE the customer!) If you still don't get a suitable answer, find another doctor. Second opinions are never a bad idea anyway. Self-diagnosis, even tentatively, is too dangerous to leave to internet sources. -K~ Google Reasercher |

Reply to previous comment: Thanks for the reminder. I am talking with the doctor and soon a specialist. I am not looking for a medical opinion as much as possibilities that are out there in the open literature - research that I could myself do on the Web but find I dont have enough time for. If researchers are not comfortable with this and dont respond, thats ok. |

I completely agree with tehuti on this. A CT scan just like any other radiological image is tough to interprete, sometimes even for experienced radiologists. Even a doctor would probably not want to give you advice based on so little information, just because you wouldn't benefit of it at all. A list of differential diagnoses is nothing more than a very inaccurate approximation to your problem. |
