Hi sherpaj-ga, You should buy the Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/productdetails.aspx?pid=005 You can buy it for about $34 dollars at many places, including Amazon.com. I have owned this mouse for several months now. I use it to control the media PC that I use in my living room, and: - I have dropped it many times from several feet down onto a hardwood floor, - I have stepped on it, - I have dribbled food on it, - I have not had to change the batteries yet, - It works on many surfaces (optical mice are great), - It has good wireless range and is very pleasant to use. I'm sure there are other decent mice out there, but I really feel that I have put this mice through an extreme workout. I hope this helps. Sincerely, dogbite-ga |

I have a microsoft wireless optical mouse. Got it with the wireless keyboard. The first, original, one just stopped working and the company gave me another under warranty. Now this second one is giving trouble. without even moving the mouse, the arrow on the screen is jumping to the bottom and to the left. It is very frustrating. The shop who sold me the complete package, [ full marks, they have been good] said initially that the batteries were low...down to 1.2volt, but now, even with fresh batteries, the problem persists. Has anyone else had the same problem???? |
