You haven't found the one I am looking for but the one in the book
(you showed me A-J) could serve my purposes.

I originally saw the image I am searching for at the Concord, Mass.
museum gift shop, it had a connection to Louisa May Alcott, possibly
her father Bronson who believed in combining exercise and education
for children. Can you keep trying?
Thanks!

I did additional research and unfortunately I was not able to locate
the image of the alphabet by Luisa May Alcott's father.

I only found references to it.

?Luisa May Alcott's father had his children make the letter shapes
with their whole bodies. How could you make the letter C with your
body? Try a capital A! Let your child help you think of ways.?

From chapter 45 of Little Women:

?She likewise set up housekeeping in the sideboard, and managed a
microscopic cooking stove with a skill that brought tears of pride to
Hannah's eyes, while Demi learned his letters with his grandfather,
who invented a new mode of teaching the alphabet by forming letters
with his arms and legs, thus uniting gymnastics for head and heels.?

Perhaps another researcher will have better luck.

Perhaps a call or visit to the Orchard House, the home of the Alcott
family may help:

http://www.louisamayalcott.org/

They promise:

"Archival photographs of the family and objects in the collection are
available for a fee. Please contact the Curator of Collections at
978-369-4118, Monday -Wednesday 8:30 - 3:30 for further information on
photo fees and policies."

I'm sorry, one more thing at that museum:

Educational Materials for Teachers and Students:

Mr. Alcott?s "Maxims" for Teaching Calligraphied Poster: $8.95
"These 58 gems of wisdom were written by Bronson Alcott in 1830 and
are strikingly modern!"

Is this your museum?
