Hi,

Do you want a list of all the possible combinations or do you just
want the number of possible combinations?
I can give you the total number of possible combinations right away
but it would be quite impossible to list all possible combinations on
this website.

Please let me know if you're satisfied with just the total number of combinations.

Thanks,
paul_b_18

I want a list of all permutations.

Wow!!
We are talking about 344,362,200 permutations:
  P = 53! / (53-5)!
53 5

If you are talking about poker hands with one wildcard the number is:
C(53,5) = 53! / 5!*(53-5)! = 2,869,685

In both cases it is impossible for us to write the entire list.

It might also be helpful to know if kathy5 wants combinations (order
does not matter) or permutations (order does matter) . . .

A very similar question was asked here:
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=305408
The researcher supplied a Microsoft Excel VB program which would
achieve this for 6 numbers out of 56 vs. 5 out of 53, but those
numbers could be changed.

Assuming permutations...
344362200 permutations
Assuming 6 bytes per permutation (abcde and some separator)
2066173200 bytes = 1.924GB or a little under 3CDs worth...
So I don't think anyone will be uploading a list
