Hi herbdexter-ga,

The Wisdom Fund explains on its web site that it "seeks to emulate as
closely as possible the investment management policies of Berkshire
Hathaway Holdings (BHH)." It tries to invest "as closely as possible
in the securities known to be owned by BHH."
The Wisdom Fund
http://www.wisdomfund.com/

Medley & Brown, a financial advisory firm, follows the investment
observations of Warren Buffett and Charles T. Munger of Berkshire
Hathaway, uses their investment philiosophy in selecting asset classes
and money managers, and attends the annual meetings of Berkshire
Hathaway and similar companies in order to formulate investment
policy.

Medley & Brown

Medley & Brown notes two companies with a similar management approach
to Berkshire Hathaway. One of them, the Sequoia Fund, is closed to
new investors. The other, Wesco-Financial Insurance Company, is
engaged in the reinsurance businesses and is 80% owned by Berkshire
Hathaway.

I hope that helps!

There is also a section of morningstar.com's university / investor
classroom that talks about the investment styles of Warren Buffett.

http://news.morningstar.com/classroom/article/0,3163,3290-1,00.html

Figured I'd add it anyway for additional background (because I have
nothing better to do than add additional (non flaming) comments at the
end of answered questions :)

I would simply buy Berkshire Hathaway. Sounds too easy? Sometimes it
just is. Class B shares are about the same price as 100 shares of
most stocks. In 10 years, I think it will outperform most other
stocks.

I would avoid the Wisdom Fund.

If you want a mutual fund with a good chance to outperform, and a
value/insurance orientation, I would suggest
<http://www.fairholmefunds.com/philo1.htm>
Smart guys. They show up in Outstanding Investor
Digest...<www.oid.com> -- the only investment newsletter that Buffett
reads. Fairholme understands insurance, and this is the absolute best
time to load up on insurance stocks.

Buying BRK class B is the way to go. You get the very best portfolio
manager in the world for an absurdly low expense ratio (12 people at
world HQ)

If you like funds here are a couple of value funds that follow in Ben
Graham/Warren Buffett tradition:
Tweedy Browne Funds
Longleaf Funds-Warren Buffett recently teamed up with Longleaf in
buying some Level 3 bonds.
Fairholme
Sequoia fund - Recommended by Warren Buffett. The fund has been closed
since 1982 to new investor, but the Morningstar website has a message
board for Sequoia where you can buy some shares on the gray market.
First Eagle Sogen Funds

If you are looking for Warren Buffett type hedge funds, I would be
glad to provide a list. email at eagle74590@aol.com
