how much time does it take to take a bite of food - from time you pick
up untensil to the mouth then back to the plate for the next bite?

Thank you for the infor provided, I was concerned with daily eating
times. like how long to eat a meal, specifically the motion of taking
a bite. I was hoping there had been research done.

I think it will very much depend on the circumstances. There are all
kinds of eating contests that will give you pause in considering this
question.

There's a cultural component to this. Table manners vary widely from place to place.
