I am looking for a pair of eyeglasses I saw but unfortunately didn't
get all the details of. They had the name "okki" on the inside of the
frame and they were made in italy.

They were a clear plastic very rectangular frame (quite unique looking
I thought )with wide black plastic
arms. The height (or width) of the arms was the same as the height of
the frames.

Can you identify these?

Okki glasses, according to their web site, are sold only in one store,
in California. Did you see the glasses in a California store?

Hi crabcakes-ga

You are a step ahead of me as I am unable to find an Okki website. The
image you sent is not the pair of glasses I was after. The ones I am
after have a definite clear plastic frame around the lenses and the
lenses (and frames) are very rectangular in shape (long skinny type
retangle). The arms are the same thickness as the side of the
rectangular lense (ie, if you are looking straight on at the glasses
on someones face, the height of the frame is the same height as the
side arms where the arms meet the frame. sorry for the somewhat
longwinded description - hope you can follow what I am trying to say)

I saw these glasses on a stranger (in Sydney, Australia though he was
a foreigner)and asked where he got them. I stupidly didn't get all the
details and he didn't speak English. He showed me the inside of the
arms and on it was written "Okki made in Italy".

And that's all I've got to work with at this stage. Are you able to
give me the web address for Okki? I have never used "Google questions"
before and do not know the etiquette.
