Hi pjdday, UK calls beginning with "000" are international data calls. They are used to improve the quality of facsimile and modem transmissions, and especially for ISDN calls. These numbers reach the same international number that would have been reached by a voice call that has been dialled with the "00" prefix. The two digits following the "000" are the International Direct Dialing code for Pakistan (92). I can't find any reference to "0125" as a national direct dialing area code within Pakistan. Perhaps it might be a telecoms service that is accessed by a short code. I trust this helps to unravel the mystery. References: "... it is necessary to use the special number prefix applicable to data calls (000 instead of 00), which attracts a higher call rate in recognition of the fact that the telco's normal speech-compression techniques cannot be used on data calls." "What is ISDN?" http://ppewww.ph.gla.ac.uk/~flavell/isdnbrief.html "...For international ISDN data calls, the dialling prefix is 000 (rather than 00, as used for international voice calls)."
