i want a drop down menu in flash. my only gripe is that i dont want the top area of my page wasted by designating a large amount of space to a flash movie for the drop downs themselves. someone told me that i can put a layer and put the flash move in this layer so that the drop downs would then extend over my static html or asp area of the page and not have to waste that space. is this possible. is so can someone point me to how or send me a sample. the less work i have to do the larger the tip | |

binarian... I'm not familiar with the layering you describe. Perhaps another researcher will be. |

The only possible way to creative a dropdown menu with flash the way you are describing would be be making a flash with a transparent background. |

Ok.. i've included a URL to a swf that do what you want it to do. If you like it, let me know and i can tweak it for your site. The menu's are completely rendered through code. -flashGuRu http://bloatedcause.i8.com/dropdownmenu.html |
