The historian Will Durant created a list of "One Hundred 'best' Books
for an education" in the 1950s or 60s, I believe. The list was
re-printed in a book edited by John Little in 2003. One of the books
in the list is "The Human Adventure" by Breasted and Robinson.
Apparently, this was once a classic textbook in history/civilization
classes. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find it ANYWHERE any more. I
can offer a small payment to any reseacher who can point me the
direction of a place where I can buy this two-volume book. Thanks in
advance.

Hi geoffbar,

I've not had much luck finding any reference to, "The Human
Adventure", in two volumes, by Breasted and Robinson. Following is
what I did find, perhaps at least one of the is what you are looking
for. I chose these examples for the descriptions rather than looking
for the "best buy" (I've omitted descriptions of conditions).

All by James Henry Breasted and James Harvey Robinson.

required the utmost care in the selection, arrangement & presentation

Thank you very much, I'm happy to hear you found my list helpful. As I
mentioned, I wasn't looking for the "best buy", so I've added a few
