Question ID: 32737
I am selling my old pagers, and I want to restore the pagers to
factory defaults. Is there a way to erase all of the data as if it
were a new pager short of going through each item and deleting it?

morpheusfla,

To reset your pagers to their factory defaults, I believe you will
need to mount them in their docking stations so they can be connected
directly to your PC. You then use Motorola's PC-to-pager software to
change pager settings.

Your Motorola Timeport p935 uses Motorola's "Wisdom OS" (Operating
System): this requires "PC Partner" software installed on your PC. "PC
Partner" should be on the CD that came with the pager. You can read
some notes on "PC Partner" software here:

Your Motorola PageWriter 2000X comes standard with Motorola's "Flex
OS": this requires "Flex PC Partner" software installed on your PC.
"Flex PC Partner" should be on the CD that came with the 2000x. You
can read some notes on "Flex PC Partner" software here:

There don't appear to be any step-by-step instructions online for
resetting the pagers. I suggest that you call Motorola Customer
Service at 1-800-548-9954 for more detailed information.

Thanks,
huntsman
