This is just a guess: one song that is often played in slow, Dixieland
style at funerals is "Just a Closer Walk with Thee."

Amazon.com has audio clips from a Dixieland version of "Just a Closer
Walk with Thee" here:

"Just a Closer Walk with Thee," Windows Media Version
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/clipserve/B0000058RC001004/0/104-9339224-8908742

"Just a Closer Walk with Thee," RealAudio Version
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/clipserve/B0000058RC001004/1/104-9339224-8908742

If this is your song, I'll be pleased to post it as the answer to your question.

If these links don't work for you, let me know, and I'll try to find
other places where you can listen to the song.

I'm glad I was able to guess the name of the song you wanted! We've
established that you are looking for a slow, Dixieland-style version
of "Just a Closer Walk with Thee."

I've found several CDs that may interest you.

The great jazz clarinetist Pete Fountain recorded the song. It appears
on his album, "Swingin' Blues," which you can purchase at Jazz By Mail
(scroll down, it's the sixth album on the page):

Jazz by Mail

The All-Star Marching Band version of "Just a Closer Walk with Thee"
is on an album called "New Orleans Parade." The CD costs only $4.98
(scroll down, the eleventh album on the page):

GNP Crescendo Records
http://www.gnpcrescendo.com/jazz_dixieland.htm

The Dukes of Dixieland CDs "Riverboat Dixieland" and "Hearing is
Believing" both feature "Just a Closer Walk with Thee."

Great Chefs: Dukes of Dixieland

Reggie's Red Hot Feetwarmers' album "Instant Mardi Gras" has the song:

An album called "Dixieland Hymns," from Jezzro and Levine, is another option:

Sensia: Green Hill Dixieland

Magnificent Seventh's Brass Band has recorded an album called
"Authentic New Orleans Jazz Funeral" that has your song:

Also at Amazon, "The Best of Preservation Hall Jazz Band":

One more from Amazon, "New Orleans Furneral & Parade," by the Eureka Brass Band:

I found a very nice, long, jazzy rendition of "Just a Closer Walk with
Thee" online in RealAudio format. This is performed by the Pride of
Dixie Band. They have a CD for sale, too:

Intrepid Software
http://www.intrepidsoftware.com/other/sound/just_a_closer_walk.ram

Google Web Search: "dixieland" + "just a closer walk with thee" + "cd"

I hope this will enable you to get a CD with the song that you want.
Let me know if there's anything further I can do for you.

Best wishes,
