Hi orangethunder-ga,
If you could provide the following information regarding this error
you receive, the researchers would be able to better answer your
question.
What happens once you get this error? Are you able to boot into
Windows, or does the process stop once this error appears?
If you are unable to boot normally into Windows, then are you able
to boot into Windows in the Safe Mode?
For instructions on how you can access the Safe Mode in Windows 98, please see:
      - How to Start a Windows 98-Based Computer in Safe Mode
        ( http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;180902 )

Thank you for your patience.
Regards,
Theta-ga
:-)
