I need the wording of the 1967 Warsaw Pact foreign minister meeting in
Warsaw. The original (in Czech) is located @

That speech by Gromyko has 11 pages
(in rather ugly czech).
For $7 you want
1) complete translation
2) emails of few translators
3) few line summary in English of what he said
or what?

As to point 2 and 3, I am informed.
By some form I meant a link to a translation in Engl. Germ. or Rus. or
link to a similar document by the Germans or Russians since they
participated too.
Alternatively, if there are none, a link to a document/publication
which deals with this meeting and maybe has some extracts. If it is
part of a larger script, it should deal with the meeting sufficiently
(~half a page or 400 words). The context is that the East German
representative Winzer (I believe) is pushing his socialist comrades
towards a response to the Hallstein doctrine pursued by FRG.
As to the information report, If you already have located a
translation, then a few lines of summary on the Gromyko speech as you
say would be more than enough : )
The sources don't have to be utterly reliable as I can verify and
correct any mistakes. But as you say, the copy I found is in outdated
Czech so it would be too pains-taking for me and anybody else to try
and translate it for $7. I would also be happy to give a tip anyway.
Thanks

Thanks for the clarification.
The problem is not that much 'outdated czech' but rather
"comintern bureaucratease" (which is oudated :-) and would be a pain
to put in some english equivalents.
and then quality of the image (badly scanned typescript).
I did look briefly on the general web, and did not find anything
(except the URL you have). May be a specialized library. I am not
expert on those, but I will ask around. If I find something,
I will be back in a week or so. However, I do not expect much.

Can you get me something on the timing of the German-Polish Treaty
(Warsaw Treaty 1970) negotiations then. I would be interested in who
went where and roughly what was discussed (motivations, interests and
positions). All of that should also be chronologically timed. If you
can do that, just tell me how much is possible and I will post a
question then.
Thanks
