In the UK about ten years ago there was a programme on TV about this
teenager from north England who cons his way into buying a nursing
home, largely through conning his way into test driving increasingly
more luxurious cars, and then tries to sell the nursing home to a
French and a US bidder. In the end the US bidder finds out that the
boy is bluffing and it all unravels. The company that the boy trades
as, was called the October House Partnership. The programme was
fictionalised (I cannot remember if the story itself was real,
probably not), and must have been film-length.

What was this programme called and where can I get a video of it?

Thank you.

Hi

The programme/film was called "Money for Nothing". Here it is -
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107143/

It doesn't deserve that rating!! I loved it when I was younger - One
of the googleresearchers may be able to find you a copy - I have one,
its battered though but if you're desperate I could send it to you and
you could make a copy or something?

Thank you. I will try and find a copy somewhere, since I dont want to
take the risk with yours, what with it being quite a difficult video
to get. If that fails, maybe you can lend me yours. Thank you :)
